The Opportunity

The primary focus of the Executive Sales Representative is to sell Virtalis solutions and services to new customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory.

As an Executive Sales Representative at Virtalis you will sell our immersive visualisation software, 3D power walls and attached services into a geographic territory to achieve assigned objectives. You will generate sales leads, manage the sales cycle and close the deal online, by phone and by visiting your prospects. You are not alone because we have a marketing team, as well as a team of sales development reps, to help generate inbound leads. You are creative and use growth-hacking tactics and social media tools to generate outbound activity. Based on our value propositions, you will develop market penetration strategies by designing territory campaigns in close cooperation with marketing. Working with our pre-sales solution engineers and our business development director, you will build a deep understanding of our product offerings and competitive issues, and are able to successfully challenge prospective senior management and C-level contacts on adoption of innovative technology that will bring proven ROI.

Virtalis operates in a highly promising (IDC/Gartner/Forrester) emerging market that requires a profound passion for VR/AR immersive visualisation. You will apply your knowledge of complex sales cycles to manage the resources within Virtalis to the benefit of the customer, and build their understanding of the opportunity to change processes and improve the bottom-line results of their company. You work largely independently and are able to develop a business acumen for the market that you operate in.

In this role, you will

  • Conduct sales cycles by leading Virtalis internal resources as a team
  • Build a solid pipeline that will promise to achieve sales goals
  • Forecast sales results in a predictable way
  • Set our customers up for success
  • Build a reference able customer base
  • Ensure that customers are happy to renew their commitments to Virtalis
  • Inform stakeholders and Virtalis management transparently about your activities and customer expectations and experiences
  • Perform duties and build the Virtalis business in line with company values and business practices

What we're looking for:

  • A master's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years with demonstrable high achievement in a sales, business development or sales development role and eager to learn more
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and problem solving skills
