Virtalis has signed a partnership agreement with Excellium Acumen, the power, oil and gas consultancy.
Virtalis MD, David Cockburn-Price, commented: “Excellium Acumen is striking out in the Middle East, Africa and Australia and is introducing both our Virtual Reality (VR) systems and software to their valuable customers and contacts. Combining its industry expertise in bespoke gas and construction projects with its AcumenMobile software and our VR expertise could be a game-changer in this marketplace.”
Michael Freeman, a director at Excelium Acumen, explained: “We have a large user base in the UK, US and Europe and are now spreading our wings and hope to take Virtalis technology into new territories and sectors. We have just completed a sizeable gas pipeline in Tanzania and our Acumen software has a proven track record in quality, safety and on-site asset data. By linking our real-time data to Virtalis VR, including Visionary Render and GeoVisionary software, we will be able to help our clients visualise and monitor remote assets and data – impossible in the real world, but vital to the Bottom Line.”
