Virtalis Appoints a New Group CEO and a New VP Sales
Virtalis has appointed a new Group CEO and a new VP Sales as it embarks on an ambitious phase of growth.
Guenter Dahm, the new CEO, has a background in IT, with 25 years in the sector in a range of executive roles. “I am passionate about what drives innovation and invention. Virtual Reality (VR) has the power to radically transform business because, as digitisation increases, so does the complexity of the data. A platform like Virtalis Visionary Render cuts through this detail, encourages collaboration and delivers smarter business decisions based on 3D visual information.”
New Virtalis Sales VP, Roger Turner, joins Virtalis after 25 years in sales leadership for blue-chip global vendors. He explained: “I’ve always been involved in pioneering technologies, and powerful trends like Smart Factories, the Internet of Things and Caller Data are all linked intrinsically to VR. There is no question about it that advanced visualisation embedded within Industry 4.0 brings huge value to PLM and that means massive savings for our customers.”
Guenter has lived all over the world, including three years in Kazakhstan, and is glad that his family have been able to experience extensive travel in a world that is set to become increasingly globalised in the future.
Roger runs his own motorcycle team, Turner Racing, that has competed in prestigious events such as The Isle of Man TT Races and The Goodwood Revival.
