Virtalis Germany Expands
Virtalis’ German office has added two more staff following a series of high profile contract wins. Sönke Dierking has joined as systems team manager and Nina Hartmann has joined as an administration and accounting assistant.
David Cockburn-Price, Virtalis MD, explained: “Sönke brings a wealth of Virtual Reality (VR) experience and has been part of project teams installing VR systems at all Germany’s major automotive and aerospace companies. Sönke’s recruitment means we are able to give our German customers a local installation and support resource for their systems.”
Nina Hartmann has a background in economics and media planning and will take over the administration of the Virtalis Germany office, which is based in the town of Moers, just outside Dusseldorf.
Sönke Dierking commented: “VR hardware technology is the field I have worked in for the last 14 years. However, VR software is quite new to me, so I am enjoying getting to grips with it with frequent trips to Virtalis’ Manchester HQ in the UK for training in GeoVisionary, Visionary Render and VR for PyMOL among others.”
