Virtalis Bids for German Market
Virtalis, Europe’s leading Virtual Reality (VR) company, has expanded into Germany. The Manchester, UK-based company, which also has an office in Ohio, US, is opening a base in the town of Moers, just outside Dusseldorf. The first member of Virtalis GmbH is Michaela Dierking, a well known figure in the German advanced visualisation and VR community.
David Cockburn-Price, Virtalis MD, said, “We are delighted to be forging ahead with this new venture. Michaela has accumulated a wealth of expertise and contacts during her decade in the industry and we are confident we have found the right person to present the Virtalis offering to the German market.”
“Virtalis’ integration between VR hardware and software is what will mark the Company out from its competitors in Germany”, commented Michaela Dierking. “The market is growing and we can prove the real savings that are generated from using advanced visualisation technology. Ten years ago, the only organisations investing in VR were the big corporations, now it is their Tier One and Tier Two suppliers, as well as universities educating the next generation of engineers”.
