Virtalis Adds to its Systems Team
Owing to a recent spate of new orders from around the world, Virtalis, Europe’s leading Virtual Reality (VR) company, has expanded its Systems Team. The Virtalis Systems Team installs complex VR systems across Europe, in North and South America, South Africa and the Far East. Michael Vinsun, the team’s newest member, is spending his first couple of weeks learning about the technology before flying out to India for an installation with Systems Team manager, James Clarkson.
Michael, who lives in Cheadle Hulme, brings a wealth of practical experience to the Virtalis Systems Team. As well as being a whizz with power tools, Michael has also set up and run manual machine tools, designed and prototyped components, as well as building his own water cooled PCs!
“For the last couple of years, I’ve been renovating and managing my own Lakeland holiday lets”, explained Michael, “prior to which I was involved in implementation, training, testing and giving tech support in the healthcare sector. I heard about this opportunity at Virtalis through a friend and the more detail I heard about the unique work undertaken by Virtalis, the more I was attracted to the position. I have always had an interest in the various aspects of design and see VR as the ultimate design tool. I relish the challenge of getting to grips with cutting-edge hardware, such as top-spec 3D projectors and interactive tracking systems.”
Additionally, Michael designs and builds his own operational, industrial helicopter drones. Coincidentally, Virtalis is known for its VR helicopter crew training environment, HCR.
“I’m pleased to welcome Michael to the team”, said James Clarkson, “we’ve got an exceptionally busy few months ahead”.
