Virtalis Development Team Expands
VIRTALIS, the leading Virtual Reality Company, has just recruited a graduate from the University of Abertay. Nick Hunter, 28, holds a 1st class BSc(Hons) Computer Games Technology degree from the University, one of only two accredited degree courses with an emphasis on real-time graphics. Prior to university, Nick, who hails originally from South Africa, worked for Thales Geo-Solutions as part of its IT team during the development of the company’s GPS systems.
Richard Davies, who heads up Virtalis’ burgeoning Development Team, commented: “We’ve thrown him in at the deep end and he is working on making the cluster manager integrate more closely with NVIDIA graphics cards. We are introducing Nick to the breadth of our technology, and at the moment it is networking. Nick adds to the increasingly international flavour of our company. We are constantly on the look out for talent like his to underpin our product development plans and our growth.”
