Rockwell Collins

Rockwell Collins is a world leader in the design and manufacture of HMDs. It has designed some of most advanced HMD systems in the world, gaining a reputation for expertise in optronics capabilities. Rockwell Collins HMDs are suitable for many commercial and industrial applications.

MicroView 35 HMD

MICROVIEW

MV35

The MV35 is a monocular HMD specifically designed for soldiers, incorporating look-down capability for improved lethality, survivability, and combat effectiveness.  The MV35 has 35° FOV, a full colour SVGA display and has a helmet mounting option.  It weighs less than 50 grams and is left or right eye compatible.

MV35T

The MV35T has the added feature of being see-through.  It has a monochrome green SVGA and the advanced see-through prism optic provides minimal vision obstruction.

SIMEYE

SX60

The SX60 provides a 60° FOV and the SX45 provides a 45° FOV - they deliver high image fidelity and are the optimal displays for viewing fine details at long range distances.  Both the SX60 and SX45 incorporate 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution allowing users to experience highly realistic training environments. Rockwell Collins markets these HMDs as the ultimate display solutions for part-task and integrated training environments.  Although it has a lightweight headband, it can also attach to a helmet and can even be battery-powered.

SX45

Rockwell Collins hails its SX45 as the ultimate military simulation and training HMD. The SimEYE SX45 boasts end-to-end video processing, visual human factors, thoughtful ergonomics and an intuitive user interface.

Featuring advanced optical designs and a high-resolution image source, the SimEYE SX45 delivers the rugged design required by soldiers in the field. It offers flexibility of use in various applications thanks to a mounting system that can accommodate most helmet configurations. It is also available with a HALO headband mounting system for non military applications, such as medical or manufacturing.

SimEye SX50TSX50T

The SX50T provides high resolution augmented reality by overlaying symbology while still viewing out-the window (OTW) imagery and cockpit data. It provides pilots with the ability to train with simulated sensors and weapons. As the optical distortion is so low, no image warping is required. High performance optics employ AMLCD monochrome SXGA+ and offer see-through 50% (optional 70%) FOV.

SimEye SX100SX100

The SX100 is a premium Helmet Mounted Display system featuring a 100° horizontal FOV with a 30° overlap and SXGA resolution providing unprecedented realism. It also boasts an integrated head tracker. The high resolution display allows for presentation of data from multiple sources which can be overlaid on OTW imagery to provide an optimum training environment. See-through optics allow viewing of instrument panels and controls to enhance the training experience.
