The Merlin Flight Simulation Group’s simulators were designed specifically for use by aeronautical university students to demonstrate the subjective aspects of flight.  The simulators provide the link between theory and practice for mechanics of flight and aerodynamics students.  Virtalis began work with Merlin in 2004 on the development of reconfigurable landscapes, airports, head up displays, lighting and data management using its in-house VR development toolkit.
