Field Salesman

Brief Description of Company & Job:
Virtalis is Europe’s best resourced and longest established advanced visualisation and Virtual Reality business. The company works across many varied sectors, including aerospace, automotive, construction, engineering, academic, defence and entertainment. Virtalis enjoys a commanding market position, underpinned by a distinguished track record, for delivering consultancy services, hardware/software products, integrated solutions and interactive application development projects.

You will be dealing with our existing customers, some of whom may have been with us since our business started and who will be very sophisticated and well-informed users of the technologies, where additional business will either be adding to an existing set-up or replicating it throughout the business and/or with their own customers and suppliers.

In addition, to spread the word about the power of advanced visualisation, you need to identify, target, educate and develop new accounts, including an element of consultancy and support in advance of them making a potentially significant investment.

You will need to be able to specify COTS products/solutions and Virtalis bundles as well as have the flexibility and creativity to work with the customer and our technical teams to specify highly tailored and potentially complex solutions.

You will be a talented high-tech sales person – whilst we understand that experienced Virtual Reality Systems sales people are not exactly easy to find, we are looking for candidates with the right blend of sales and technical skills combined with the ability to learn how this complex range of tools and techniques can be applied to a range of industries and disciplines. A high level of enthusiasm and drive is required as well as the resilience needed to promote a leading edge technology to markets that in some cases don’t know that they need it yet. If you have been used to cold calling and closing sales then this role will suit you.

Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience. Benefits include a company car or car allowance and pension contribution.
