Our standard package for a UK RAF installation starts from only £100,000, equivalent to approx 40 flying hours.  Talk to us for non-RAF and overseas installations. Standard Package

• A physical structure representing the dual access rear door area of a Griffin helicopter in conjunction with immersive VR equipment (head-mounted display and tracking system). Linked by an "off the shelf PC", the real-time rendering engine for the VM student is duplicated in the student’s HMD view and on one of the two trainer displays.
• A virtual model of a Griffin.
• The world’s first winch operation simulator, with added underslung load capability, allows for full SAR and logistics scenarios to be created, challenging rear crew to talk the pilot through a pick up or drop in a confined area packed with obstacles.
• Standard landscape and seascape with environmental conditions including sea states 1 to 6 (unbelievably realistic waves!) and variable levels of rain, fog and lighting.
• Target objects include military trucks, barrels, injured civilians, stricken vessels, life rafts and many more that can be positioned within the scenario by the VM trainer.
• The coastal flying module provides an island that is half mystical and half recognisably Anglesey, with its 200 foot high cliffs.
• The Instructor’s Scenario Control Interface is a user friendly, multi window, point and-click display subsystem that allows instructors to pre-program, run, save and replay scenarios. The instructor also controls the helicopter with a joystick, responding to the VM commands given by the students.
• Full 1 year hardware and software warranty and support.

• Additional helicopter models can be created from a variety of source data.
• Extra landscapes or features can be constructed in detail from digital terrain elevation data and aerial photographs.
• We can usually include any other visualisation request you can think of!

Our collaboration with Precision Lift in the US has seen our Helicopter Crew Reality system be named as the training product for their Heli-Basket.  Our simulator will be bundled together with the baskets and sold to users who wish to rescue up to 15 people at a time from hazardous situations (e.g. the top of a building on fire or from a sinking ship) or who wish to deliver goods or equipment, including means to fight fires or chemical spills.
