Our Products and Offerings
Our unrivalled position at the heart of European VR and advanced visualisation over the last two decades means we can offer some fabulous products, some niche, some mainstream. If you are looking for a stand alone piece of kit, such as a Head Mounted Display , or a Tracker, we have the most comprehensive offering available from any company world-wide. If you want some advice or are putting together a few tools to make an integrated system, please do telephone us to get the benefit of our advice. We are not tied to any individual manufacturer, and in fact we make a point of providing competitive products and systems. This is so we can offer you independent advice as to the best and most appropriate products for your purposes. We make a point of having in-depth experience of all of the products we provide, both hardware and software, which means that Virtalis is uniquely positioned to help customers specify and bring to fruition a whole range of solutions from a single piece of kit to multi-channel integrated VR systems. Our rightly lauded Development Team has, in recent years, created an astounding diversity of systems, niche applications and drivers for VR peripherals.
GeoVisionary - Real time rendering for geological and landscape data.
A COLLABORATION between Sarah Baillie, a veterinary surgeon, and Virtalis, Europe’s leading Virtual Reality (VR) and Advanced Visualisation Company, has seen the creation of an innovative Haptic Cow, which allows trainee vets to explore a virtual model instead of a real animal.
We produced our first passive stereoscopic system in 1991 and overall we have installed nearly 50 active and passive projection systems in the UK, Europe and the US. The new StereoWorks range includes low cost , off-the-shelf, portable configurations through to the full immersive multi-channel curved screen experience. Installations have been completed at the Kalamazoo aviation museum in the US, at Fiat/Alfa Romeo in Italy, at Leyland Trucks and BAE in the UK, and at numerous Universities.
StereoServer allows scenes to be rendered and converted to be played back smoothly in real-time, preserving all visual effects. Our own KRender technology allows distortion-free seamless images to be displayed using multiple projectors onto flat, curved, spherical or uneven surfaces. The stereoscopic content can be easily created using standard software such as 3DS Max, Maya and Adobe Premier. Scenes can be rendered offline at the highest quality and then replayed in stunning stereo.
VIRTALIS, the leading specialist visualisation company, has developed the Virtalis Visionary Framework, a technology to get more value from PC clustering. The Visionary Cluster can act on its own, supporting a range of visual applications, and it can be harnessed to PTC’s high end, visualisation software, DIVISION MockUp. When working in this way, Virtalis’ “MockUp on a PC Cluster” allows the manipulation of large data models and makes advanced visualisation easier to achieve and more accessible than ever before.
